How We Write and Review

Nervous Body publishes general educational information about the nervous system and the body-focused habits that grow out of stress. Here is how that content is made, and what it is and is not.

01

How we write

Every health page starts from reputable general references, organisations like the Cleveland Clinic, Mayo Clinic, the Sleep Foundation, and published research, and is written in plain language by the Nervous Body editorial team. We aim for calm, practical, judgment-free explanations, and we cite our sources so you can read further.

We are honest about our lane. We do not claim clinical credentials, and no page here is written or reviewed by a named medical professional. The framing throughout is education, not diagnosis or treatment.

02

What we avoid

We do not promise cures, guarantees, or fixed timelines, and we do not make medical claims. The book owns the day-by-day protocol; the site explains the science and the symptom landscape.

Where a symptom needs a professional, we say so plainly: a dentist for tooth damage from grinding, a mental-health professional for habits that feel compulsive, and a doctor for persistent hyperarousal or distress.
